Being a food seeker for long, this time I’m back with my home cooking video. Fried prawn with garlic and black pepper, one of my favorite dish. Well, take a look how to make it 😉 Enjoy guys!

This morning I had to get up early again (being my aunt’s partner for breakfast). lolzz. Actually, I really don’t get to wake up  early in the morning because I love to stay up late, so every time that I am forced to wake up early, I will be so bullshit and get mad with out a reason. But you know, the only thing which can change my mood from that early morning madness is FOOD, lolz. =))
Well, this morning we went to Coca restaurant which is located on Mao Tse Tung road near Intercontinental Hotel. Every morning, this restaurant will be full of customer, sometimes it’s really hard for us to find a table to sit. But today we came here early so we got a table. hahaha.
After we got a table, I was the one who grabbed for the menu and started to order my favorite bowls for my auntie and myself, I ordered for Wonton with noodle and Noodle with roast duck.
This bowl is very wonderful for me. Of course wonton, the size of wonton is fit the the mouth (not too big or small), and it’s very soft to the tongue :d. This bowl costs 3.20$.
This bowl is very yummy, the taste is like the roast duck noodle at China Town in Thailand =). The roast duck meat is really soft and it will be more yummy when you eat the roast duck with their sauce. It’s really perfect to me. This bowl costs 3.70$
And here is my another day which is fulfill with FOOD =)
If you are looking for noodle for breakfast, I suggest these bowls for you. Confirm! 😉
Last day morning, I was forced to get up by my auntie. = =” But When I knew that she gonna go out for breakfast, I was automatically alert. LOL.. You know what, I was so excited because I thought that she gonna bring me to my favorite noodle restaurant. But, it was not like what I thought, she went for breakfast at VEGETARIAN RESTAURANT. (shock) *[]*! I really wanted to cry in that time (I’m not a vegetable lover).
We went to the vegetarian restaurant at City Mall which is located on the second floors near the car park.
The design of the restaurant is a Chinese style, it looks very new to my eyes for a vegetarian restaurant here in Phnom Penh. Not only the exterior design, but the interior of the restaurant is cool also.
The first step I got into the restaurant made me forget all about vegetable, lolz. When we got a table, I grabbed the menu and tried to look for a dish which has less vegetable 😛
The menus here was really interesting, it’s like they put the name of the dishes as if there’s a real meat. Actually, they use a fake meat which made from mushroom or flour. I ordered 4 menus for my auntie and myself, there’re dumpling vegetable, noodle soup, fried noodle and roast noodle.
This dumpling vegetable is really soft to the tongue, and it’s so tasty especially when I ate it with their sauce. This dish costs around 2$.
This noodle soup tastes quite wonderful. I totally forgot that it was not a real meat. The taste of fake meat is like pork (so amazing) =) For more, I really love when it had a corn, I didn’t need to add more sugar because it was already sweet by the corn. This dish costs 2.50$.
This dish costs 3$.
This roast noodle is really yummy. They put the fried noodle in the hot pan also mixed with those sweet veggies and put egg aside. This dish costs 3.50$.
Let say, I was changed my view of vegetarian food by these menus. It’s not look scary as I think. Ahh… I will come back again for sure 😉
After my class this evening, I went out for dinner around Riverside. This time I really wanted to explore to the restaurant which I never been before.
I walked from The Royal Palace around 1km. and then I found the restaurant “My home restaurant“. This restaurant is just only one room but it’s really clean to the eyes. It’s open from 8 am – 10 pm.
The moment that the menu was in front of my face, I grabbed and opened it that fast. This time I wanted to try Khmer dish so I looked directly to the Khmer menu, not anywhere else. There’re many choices for Khmer dish here and the price was really reasonable for each menu. Anyway, I’m a beef lover so I pointed at “Stir-Fry Beef with lemon grass & green pepper” as my dinner for today.
This restaurant is a fast serve ever. I didn’t have to wait to have my dish that long also the taste didn’t make me feel that I chose a wrong place. This dish was really tasty, especially the beef which was absorbed with the sauce and the taste of onion.
For those who love beef, I suggest you to try this.
Last time, I went for a dinner with my friend and I really wanted to eat Taco in that time. So we try to find the restaurant which has Taco near my friend’s house.
Finally, we found the restaurant name “Mama’s New York Deli” located on Boeung Keng Kang I area.
And yes! I found what I was seeking for “Beef TACO” so I immediately ordered 😀 , and my friend took “Penne with Chicken“.
Later on, my Taco was served in few minutes. A foretaste of mexican food, the tacos were temptingly served with thick ground beef mixed with mexican spices and of course, the cheese melt on top.
I was stunned by 2 hard shell tacos This tacos are stuffed with the choice of seasoned ground beef served with lettuce, tomato, onion and salsa. The taste was really amazing.
And then, my friend’s menu (Penne with Chicken) was served (Ahh.. I really wanted to eat her dish also, even the smell already showed that it’s really yummy). This dish contained of sliced chicken with penne pasta with tangy homemade tomato sauce.
The last few weeks, my palate was craving for pizza. I was trying to imagine the thick cheese melting on my mouth with crunchy toppings every after bite. After my class last week, I went out for dinner and I decided to have pizza. I hurriedly went to Divine Pizza & Ribs located along Sisowath Quay (near night market). I have been hearing rave reviews about their pizza so i decided to give it a try.
Their pizza was EXCEPTIONAL; service was fast 🙂 (The pizza was served less than 15 mins.) Two flavors in one— Al Mare and Barbecue Chicken & Onions flavors. The barbeque chicken was perfectly grilled creating a balanced taste of sweetness and saltiness. The onions were layered, crunchy when i bite it with the rich cheese on the crust’s bed.
Al mare is a seafood flavor which includes shrimp, squid, and parsley.
Twenty minutes has passed, I decided to order one more small size pizza this time, Sausage & Olive toppings.
Of all the pizza shop varieties sprawling in Phnom Penh, I recommend you try Divine’s Pizza.
This is the very first time that I’m going to write a blog. Actually, I used to think about creating blog for long but I was very lazy to do it (because I’m not good in writing.). Lol.
Until I have been into the class which calls Media in the Digital Age, I got a very good chance to follow up my plan to create a blog. 🙂 Since most of the time I do eating and taking photo, so I decided to make this blog about food.
And I’m sure that for those who are hungry and have no idea where you can find something to eat. This blog will guide you to the food that you might be looking for over Phnom Penh.
Just stay tune, I’ll update more about FOOD…Â
